Responsibilities
- To assist superintendent to arrange for repairs where required in getting drafting specifications for quotations on repairs and service jobs
- Updating of work order in central procurement system in the processing of invoices and system, Shipnet
- Filing of repair services reports in order to monitor the repair history
- To assist Superintendent to source for quotation for safety and LSA , FFA servicing , issue of POs with Superintendent approval and checking of invoices. Updating of purchase system, shipnet
- To assist Superintendent to monitor vessel daily report, checking of engine parameters reported and lub oil ROBs status
- To assist superintendent to monitor vessel budget
- To monitor, update and filing of PMS return form the vessel
- Monitoring of Monthly FW cooling and boiler water reports
- To assist superintendent to monitor ship vessel report and carrying out of defects
- To monitor the rental butter worth portable tank cleaning machines on board and arrange for exchange if necessary
- Updating of vessel purchasing system, shipnet
- Vetting through Fuel oil analysis results
- To assist superintendent to monitor the class survey status and informing supt the due dates and arrangement of surveys
- To assist superintendent to monitor vessel Running Hours
- Monitoring of Framo PDI and purging records
- Monitoring of 3 monthly lub oil scheduled lub oil analysis being carried out and forwarding to the vessel if no adverse comment, otherwise infrom the tech supt for any advises to the vessel before sending the results to vessels
- To monitor lub oil consumption and abnormal consumption to inform Superintendent
- Polytechnic Diploma in Supply Chain/Engineering/Marine discipline
- 2 year sailing experience as junior deck or engineer preferred. Those without this criterion can be considered based on similar merits
