Senior Project Manager - Geotechnical

We are currently looking to recruit a Principal/Senior Project Manager to join our established and emerging Geotechnical department. The purpose of the role is to undertake all aspects of project management activities, including liaising with internal departments and external organisations in the execution and overall co-ordination and management of Geotechnical projects.

Hours: Full Time

Your main responsibilities will include, but not limited to, coordination and management of projects, ensuring all financial, contractual and other obligations are achieved in accordance with agreed terms. Contract review, executions and management, including risk management, budget control, performance review / client feedback and client liaison throughout project lifecycle.

You will be required to assess, prepare and submit tenders, build effective client relationships, conduct client visits and deliver formal presentations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills and commercial acumen, you will have demonstrable experience in a senior project management role and ideally have proven work history in a geotechnical environment. You will have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and be able to work to strict commercial deadlines. Essentially you will have a high level of IT literacy including Microsoft Suite and Outlook.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with team spirit and a determination to get the job done. Confidence and the ability to communicate appropriately working with those involved on our projects internally and externally are key attributes to bring to this role.

The nature of this role will mean that you will be expected to respond to requests outside of standard business hours, additionally global travel may be required. The role is both challenging and rewarding in equal measure for someone with the right mix of skills and knowledge.
