Port Captain

We are looking to recruit: Port Captain

The Port Captain will provide support and expertise to our Manning Offices on crewing matters such as recruitment and selection. The role also includes duties of Marine Superintendent such as ensuring compliance with all international, administration and classification regulations, rules and codes along with assisting the Marine Department with the safe operation of Company managed ships with particular emphasis on their navigation, safety equip-ment, cargo loading and discharging operations.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years sailing experience as a Master on tankers
• Strong knowledge of industry rules and regulations
• Excellent report writing skills
• High level of commitment
• Ability to work under pressure, use own initiative and take on responsibility
• Excellent command of the written and spoken English language
