Crewing Manager

As the Crewing Manager you are responsible for:

• Crew Planning for continuous rotational flow
• Monitoring / Evaluating all data concerning the seafarers training
• Gauging Crew performance through appraisal reports
• Managing crew certificates and training documents
• Evaluating and selecting new candidates
• Maintaining records and communicating with existing crews and manning agents
• Planning and budgeting crewing needs
• Managing crew-related logistics (travel documents, embarkations, repatriations etc.)
• Negotiating and executing employment contracts
  Managing crew payroll and disbursements
• Planning and arranging crew training

Essential skills / Qualifications

• Should have a Bachelor’s degree (i.e. Maritime Operations/ Ship Management, or HR Management) 
  Ideally, this person has at least 2-3 years of relevant working experience
• Excellent knowledge of (national (Russian) and international) crewing regulations (including flag state requirements, STCW, BIMCO, ILO, MLC 2006, etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure
• High sense of initiative, professionalism and responsibility
• Excellent command of the written and spoken English language
