Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience onboard offshore vessels or onshore as Marine Safety Officer.
Candidates with Previous Aramco approval and Aramco Marlins reviewed on priority;
Valid STCW documents;
Be suitably experienced in offshore vessel operation and hold Foreign Going COC of grade II/2 or III/2;
Fluent in both written and spoken English;
Hold an HSE Certificate of a similar standard to the NEBOSH General certificate in Occupational Health and Safety;
Conduct Safety Inspections on our vessels which will be under ARAMCO charter;
Work with vessel captains, ensuring knowledge of Marine Procedures and Compliance;
Provide HSE training to the contractor workforce, both onshore and offshore;
Provide Safety Presentations as necessary;
Producing documents for the sharing of Safety Information, e.g. Safety Flyers;
Work closely with Charterer, Marine Department Quality Assurance and Compliance Unit (QA & CU) to identify and take remedial action in areas where safety can be improved;
Conduct Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analysis as required and participate in accident / incident investigations.
