Junior Seaman is a starting position in the Deck department of cruise ships.
Duties:
- Keep the deck safe, clean and tidy.
- Use the correct safety and protection equipment provided in the daily operations and follow the safety instructions from the Bosun and the 2nd Bosun in this respect.
- Helping passengers to solve their complaints.
- Perform additional routines and work as assigned by Bosun and the 2nd Bosun.
- Attend meetings, training activities, courses and all other work-related activities as required both on board and ashore.
Requirements:
- Completion of one full contract with a performance rating of satisfactory or above,
- Valid STCW certificates required for the position,
- Good command of the English language. Location: Worldwide
