QUALIFICATIONS:
LPG Tanker Onboard Experience is an advantage.
Has at least 3 years of experience and proven technical ability as Technical Superintendent or similar position.
Has demonstrated experience with technical applications and knowledge of diesel electric engines is an advantage.
Has passion for excellence and working in a fast paced technical operations environment.
Has good interpersonal and communication skills, and sharp analytical skills.
For Technical Superintendent: Background as Marine Engineer, preferred sailed as C/E or 2/Eng onboard
For Marine Superintendent: Minimum Class 3 Certificate of Competency (COC) with capacity served onboard vessel as 3rd Officer/2nd Officer/Chief Officer
Planned Maintenance system experience
Possess Shipboard ISM / ISPS code, Marine insurance and Seamanship knowledge
Proactive, team worker, hardworking and detailed are essential qualities
Maritime practice knowledge is essential.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor and maintain fleet marine operations status
Conduct inspections onboard own fleet of tugs and train Deck crews (including masters) on good seamanship practices
Perform accident / incident investigations, propose corrective/preventive actions and present findings
Assist in operational readiness of 3rd party chartered vessel (mobilization and demobilization)
Attend to suitability surveys prior hire of vessel / barges and rectifications of punch-list items in time
Advise the Operations Managers / Superintendent on Maritime rules and regulations
Liaison with customers on operational Maritime matters, including attending to customer project /safety meetings
Advise the operations Manager and management team during annual reviews
Make suggestions for improvements and saving within areas of involvement
Assist with operational duties as may require from time to time Location: Worldwide
