CSL Australia (“CSLA”) was established in 1999 and is the largest owner of and operator of dry bulk coastal vessels operating in Australian waters. CSLA is the major supplier of shipping services to the construction and building industries. CSLA is a division of The CSL Group Inc. (“CSL”) which operates a highly diversified fleet of specialised self-unloading vessels, off-shore transhippers and Handysize bulk carriers. CSL delivers millions of tons of cargo to industrial customers annually.

About the position

CSL Australia is currently looking for a variety of casual crew members to join our vessels located around Australia. You will be on a roster schedule of up to 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off (depending on availability). All salaries will be in accordance with the relevant collective agreement.

CSL Vessel Goliath – Blue Water Vessel

Our cement carrier, Goliath vessel operating in the Bass Strait is currently seeking casual:

• First Engineers

• Second Engineers

• Third Engineers

CSL Vessel Donnacona:

Our transhipment vessel Donnacona operates in Cape Preston, Western Australia and is a 24/7 hour operation for our customer CITIC Pacific Mining. This role would suit someone who has previously worked in a similar environment to Cape Preston (or the North West region) and is used to operating in hot weather year-round. This vessel is seeking casual:

• First Engineers
• Engine Watchkeeper

CSL Fixed Offshore Transfer Barge (FOTB):

Our FOTB operation is based in Whyalla, South Australia is currently seeking casual:

• Electrical Engineers

Basic Requirements

• Relevant AMSA COC or AMSA COR
• MSIC Card (required)
• Current AMSA Medical (required)
• Certificate of Safety Training (desirable)
• Australian Citizen or hold a valid working visa
