Chief Engineer

We are looking for skilled Chief Engineers who will be part of our committed team.

Areas of responsibility:

- Monitor the operation of all machine systems on board the ship.

- Ensure that all technical procedures are complied with in line with current regulations.

- Lead and develop the crew in the engine room, including training and guidance.

- Carry out regular inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance.

- Collaborate with other departments on maintenance and repairs.

- Prepare reports on the operating conditions on board as well as carry out administrative work related to machine operation.

Qualifications:

- M1 Certificate is a requirement.

- Documented experience from construction ships or anchor traders.

- Good leadership skills with the ability to motivate your team.

- Strong problem solving skills and technical understanding.

- Good communication skills in Norwegian and English.
