Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Prepare budgets and compare Actual vs Budgeted figures.
- Manage Cash Flow.
- Analyze financial trends and provide strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with departments to optimize budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance. Accountant’s certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) will be an asset.
- Expertise in IFRS.
- Proven experience in an Accounts Manager or similar role within shipping industry.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in accounting software. Knowledge of SAP will be considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
