As a second in command of the engine room you will assist Chief Engineer in operating the mechanical systems and in carrying out the engineering operations to marine best practice, manufacturer’s recommendations, class and flag state requirements and company’s standards. You will be in charge of preparing the engine room for arrival, departure or standby and plan, assign and supervise the OOW and engine ratings. You shall possess extensive knowledge of ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, etc. Location: Worldwide
