The role involves maintaining engine room watches, managing prime movers and generators, performing routine checks, and executing preventive maintenance. Key requirements include a valid NIMASA MEA Certificate of Competency, STCW Basic Safety Training, a Seafarer Medical Fitness Certificate, and at least two years of experience on tugboats, crew boats, or OSVs. Experience on Oil & Gas offshore support vessels is advantageous.
