Maritime Faculty

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience: Associate degree and proven, extensive experience in teaching U.S. Coast Guard approved courses. Required Education: Certifications in the field of Maritime US Coast Guard approved training. Required Experience: At least 4 years of teaching experience in either operational or management level US Coast Guard approved courses.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Maritime Transportation or a related field preferred. -Ten (10) years of teaching experience in either operational or management level of U.S. Coast Guard approved courses. - Unlimited Tonnage Master's license.

Responsibilities

1. Teach Coast Guard Approved Courses 2. Ensure that all equipment and technology are in appropriate condition for use in instruction. 3. Review instructional materials for currency and accuracy. 4. Advise students as necessary. 5. Additional maritime program related duties as assigned.
