We have open vacancy for skilled and motivated Chief Engineer sea-shipping with COC up to 3000 kW or unlimited.
The Chief Engineer is overall responsible for the technical systems of the ship, develops, controls and executes plans for the maintenance of technical installations and equipment throughout the ship.
Maintain any Planned Maintenance System up to date and complete all relevant documentation.
Ensure optimum efficiency in the use of fuel, lubricating oil, spare parts and stores.
Ensure proper completion of the Engine Room journal and Oil Record Book and other administration and documentation.
Takes charge of an engine room watch, if applicable.
Maintains and controls ISM/SMS, MARPOL and other legislation to make sure the vessel is in compliance and ready for inspections at all times.
Your profile
You are Chief Engineer and completed a Middle or High Professional Maritime Studie. He needs to be able to work in a small team and has a large sence of responsibility.
You have no objection against work in shifts.
Good contactual skills, good knowledge of the English language, flexible and immune for stress
