• seaman’s book (national and flag state)
• Dutch certificate of competence 2nd off all ships (at least valid for 6 months after signing off)
• seafarer medical examination (at least valid till the end of the intended contract on-board VOS BV vessel)
• STCW courses (appropriate for the type of vessel trade)
• preferably SSV experience
• prefarably North Sea experience
• must have a good command of the English language (both verbal and in writing)
