Farstad Shipping Pte Ltd is a premier marine operator which owns and operates a large fleet of
sophisticated vessels servicing the offshore oil and gas industry worldwide. Our competent and

A vacancy currently exists for an Operations Officer in our Singapore Office. The primary function of this
role is to work within a team environment and coordinate the logistical movements of sea going staff to
and from vessels in the Indian Pacific region.
Area of responsibility and tasks include:
• Inward and outward clearance of vessels
• Point of contact for Vessel related Port agency matters
• Coordinating crew movements
• Organising travel arrangements for crew with external travel agent
• Liaison with internal groups i.e. travel bookers, vessel operations, HSEQ and HR staff
• Liaison with medical centres and consular offices
• Working to strict deadlines
• Adhering to statutory requirements
• Vessel visits as required
• Being on-call

Desired qualifications include:
• Minimum qualification GCE- O Level/Diploma
• Proficient in MPA matters, Marinet & understanding of Singapore Immigration crew system
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Strong interpersonal, diplomacy and computer skills
• Positive “can do” attitude
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic Marine environment
• Previous experience within the Maritime or Oil and Gas Industry will be highly regarded
