Cost Engineer

Our client is providing a major oil & gas Operator with all levels of commercial staff worldwide. We are currently seeking experienced Cost Engineers to work in Rijswijk, Netherlands to work on major upstream and downstream projects.
Responsibilities:-
To support the development of the global CMT and processes.
Support implementation on selected projects in both upstream and downstream.
Support candidate projects Cost Engineers in CMT set-up, including data migration, creation of project structures, phasing and loading of cost baseline and forecasts, reporting and report interpretation.
Ensure application of Project Controls Standardization programme (PCSP) processes.
Provide CMT user training and support, including problem analysis and resolution.
Accountabilities:- Development of detailed functional and technical test scripts.
Execution of functional and technical testing. Reporting and communication of test results.
Development of training materials. User support, training and development.
Implementation of CMT on identified candidate projects in accordance with defined implementation approach.
Documentation of processes at user keystroke level. Stakeholder engagement / management.
Capital Projects of varying magnitude.
Excellent quality focus.
Work and Cost Breakdown Structures with multiple responsible individuals.
Significant transactional volume with multiple currencies.
Skills / Experience Required:-
You must have an Engineering or Quantity Surveying Degree or certification as a Cost Engineer or have equivalent experience.
Have eight years or more experience in cost engineering in the oil and gas industry.
Have excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills.
Be fully versed with Cost Control principles and techniques having worked on projects.
Have experience with cost engineering tools and SAP-Project System and Requisition to Pay process skills will be an added advantage. Location: Holland
