MECHANICAL WATCH KEEPING ENGINEERS JOB IN UAE

We are currently recruiting WATCH KEEPING ENGINEERS on a permanent basis for projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Applicants should hold a fully licensed Class Motor Certificate (COC) with a minimum of 5 years experience. Dredging background is a must.
DESCRIPTION OF KEY RESULTS AREAS OF DEPARTMENT:
• To maintain and manage all technical aspects of all vessels in the most efficient way.
• Ensure optimal and timely availability of all vessels.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Assist the Chief Engineer to ensure optimal and safe performance of the vessel by operation and maintaining the engine room in the most effective way. During night shift, be operationally end responsible.
• Assist the Chief Engineer to execute the implementation of the maintenance schedule and spare parts requirements in accordance with plan and technical specifications.
• Provide the Chief Engineer with input on the day-to-day performance of technical parts of the engineer room.
• Ensure and monitor the compliance with the HSE requirements in the engine room.
• Supervise and monitor quality assurance of the dry docking activities. Reporting on QA to the Chief Engineer and Engineering Superintendent.
• Report to the Chief Engineer and Senior Dredge Master on any failure or maintenance requirements that may effect the performance of the dredger or support craft.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Marine/ Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent professional qualification.
• STCW 95 and updated course.
