Operations Executive (Marine division)
PURPOSE OF JOB

Management of assigned vessels daily aspect of engineering
Responsible for the safety of Company assets and employees

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To coordinate with Marine HSE/DPA on internal and third part audits in respect of ISM/ISPS and other statutory codes as may be applicable and to be reponsible for the timely closing out of any action points arising from same
Responsible for the implementation of safe working practices on board the vessel
Part of incidient investigation teams whenever an accident/incident requires
Part of Emergency Reponse Team
Ensure vessel certificates and survey validaity status is maintained and to liaise with Flag and Class as required ensuring compliance
Monitor and closing out of defects onboard the vessel in accordnace to good engieering methodlogy and classification of soceity standards
Ensure vessel enruiqrmenets are well maintained at all times
Ensure all necessary engineering reports are collated and documented
Ensure that the system for the condemnation of deftective equipement and part of the vessel is effectively enforced
Assist in the prepartion of annual budgets and to provide supporting data to justify any propsed increased over and above infaltion
With the assistance of marine staff prepare and cost drt dock work lists for presentation to senior management
Liasion with vessle to ensure there is a complete understanding of its operational status
Monitor vessel purchase orders and expenditure in accordnace to given budget
Conduct annual stock take to ensure all spares are properly accounted and maintained
Conduct audits on vessel to ensure all engineering instructions issued by office is adhere and complied

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES/EXPERIENCE

A marine engineering background
At least 2 years’ experience working as Technical or Operations Superintendent in Oil & Gas or relevant industry
Strong knowledge in MS Office
Understanding of marine operations in the context of the offshore oil & gas industry
A comprehensive knowledge of safe working practices and their implementation
Able to work well in high tempo and dynamic environment
Independent dynamic and result oriented
A good team player with strong sense of self-motivation
Willing to take on added responsibilities
Willing to travel at short notice
Possess driving license Location: Singapore
