Job Description
Assist and support the Production Manager in managing new construction projects
Task and Responsibilities
*Report to the Production Manager on construction activities *Prepare project schedule, monitor and control project progress *Coordinate project activities, conduct project meetings in order to keep project progress as per schedule *Identify the resources needed and assign collective and individual responsibilities *Identify and anticipate risks that might impact a schedule and propose solutions to mitigate together with the Production Manager *Coordinate approved third party contractors and manage coactivity on board *Identify, source and approve equipment and material requests for project as per design requirement within approved budget *Monitor and control project cost as per approved budget *Resolve technical issues pertaining to construction *Contact person with Owner representative *Liaise with HSE Manager and follow strict safety procedures *Liaise with ISO Quality Department and coordinate quality control checks in order to deliver project according to class and owner quality requirements *Liaise with Class Surveyor for all site surveys. Responsible to follow up all Class comments and manage and manage to close them. *Liaise with Design Department in order to receive drawings on time to support progress
Job Requirements *Minimum Education: Degree in Mechanical/Marine/ Offshore Engineering, Naval Architecture *Minimum 4 to 6 years relevant experience in project management in shipbuilding or marine engineering *Strong leadership, interpersonal and planning skills. *Strong written and spoken English communication skills. Ability to produce and present effective and comprehensive reports. *Able to delegate tasks and manage people professionally
Salary: 42,000.00 – 70,000.00 Euros (Yearly Salary)
