Job description
We are searching for experienced Masters that are highly motivated to challenge themselves with worldwide projects. Our clients are searching for enthusiastic, pro-active colleagues to help them create and sustain a safe environment. You got coaching and maneuvering capabilities and you are willing to work in a rotation of 4 weeks on 4 weeks off. The main proceedings will be Rig moves/ moving anchors, towing and pushing. Experience on AHTS/tug vessels is a MUST and experience with Azimuth Thrusters a pre.
You will be working in a 12 hours shift for the day to day operations and transferring the ships progress to your relieve. Communicating with vessel’s owner, client, colleagues and keeping on track with the administration is one of the main priorities to keep the project organized. You are highly skilled with maneuvering, you are not afraid to maneuver in small spaces and have experience with Rig moves and moving anchors.
Keeping the ship stable and in position by using the ballast tanks or DP and for filling navigational tasks is one of the main tasks that has to be done daily. Preparations and / or submission of Log Books, daily records, maintenance records, checklists and permits as laid down by various authorities having jurisdiction on the different continental shelves and in accordance with the companies policies and associated documents.
Having experience with DP systems is always a benefit which means that you can sail on different type of vessels with more responsibilities with of course a higher salary. The ships tonnage is various. Your documents are up to date and not older than 3 years!
