Job description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Day to day maintenance and repair works on all electrical and electronic equipment of the unit,
Makes and reports scheduled inspections and maintenance of all electrical and electronic equipment and is responsible for maintaining the status in unit’s PMS (planned maintenance system);
Reports to the Chief Mechanic for actual operational status and to the Technical Manager for all technical matters;
Reports on used spare parts and consumables in PMS;
Reports PMS job orders, electrical and electronic breakdowns and communicates with the Chief Mechanic & Technical Manager;
Being familiar with his duties in an emergency situation and being aware of acts & regulations, Company’s procedures, and ensures that those are complied with;
The Electrician shall be aware of the hazards associated of work which has to be carried out by, or the persons assigned to his responsibility for completion of the assigned work, without being exposed to any danger.
Job requirements
Qualifications and Trainings:
Rounded secondary technical school or electrical & electronic education;
Proven work experience (minimum 5 years) in electrical and electronic hands-on role in the jack-up, offshore or maritime industry;
Confident personality, stress resistant and results oriented;
Good English verbal and written communication skills;
BOSIET and HUET (incl. EBS) are required.
