Job description
As Chief Engineer you are responsible for the operation of the engine room and any maintenance of machinery onboard the vessel. You work closely with the onboard management team and engine room department to ensure that all maintenance is completed efficiently. You maintain inventory for spare parts, extra fuel and oil. You ensure that the engine room is kept in good condition and ready for inspection at all times.
Job requirements
Good knowledge of the English language
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Medical certificate
Valid CoC Chief Engineer Unlimited
At least 2 years experience in rank
Able to develop, control and execute plans for the maintenance of technical installations and equipment.
