TOW MASTER

We are currently looking to recruit a TOW MASTER to be employed on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be somebody who has experience of several rig moves predominantly on jack-up and/or semi submersible rigs.
• The selected candidate will spend 90% of their time offshore on varied rigs during the moves.
• Main responsibilities will include: Overseeing and co-ordinating all marine activities in relation to heading control, disconnection and tow away.
• Experience/Qualifications Master Mariner.
• Previous experience as Tow Master essential, preferably with experience in FPSO heading control and station keeping.
• Salary on offer is negotiable
• Take charge of our drilling rigs during rig moves from one location to another.

Skills & Experience
• Master Mariner/Chief Officer or other suitably qualified rig mover
• In relation to semi-submersible units, acted as a stand-alone Barge Supervisor on such units for a minimum of three (3) rig moves or as assistant Tow Master for a minimum of five (5) rig moves. Both roles should be supervised by an experienced Tow Master.
