
Once onboard, new shore-based staff undergo a New Employee Orientation program, introducing them to the Thome Group, familiarising company policies and briefing on responsibilities and training for their respective positions.
A performance review is held twice a year to assess the work performance of each member of staff and will be carried out using Success Factors - a web-based tool which reviews competencies and identifies the training and development needs of each employee. Prompt follow-up in the form of performance improvement plans and training are initiated when training and development needs are identified by the staff manager.
