Job Sector – Ship Operations (Post Fixtures and Claims)
Location – Singapore
Experience – 5-6 years or more
Salary – On application

As Manager Operations, you will be required to:

- Have an in-depth understanding of charter parties and their various clauses
- Issue voyage instructions to the Ship’s Master
- Oversee the calculation of hire and freight invoices and lay time statements
- Handle cargo claims
- Have good understanding of formulation and finalisation of port disbursement accounts
- Have good understanding of lay time statements, implications of Notice of Readiness and cargo documents
- Draw final voyage accounts
- Conduct voyage estimation and compare estimation with actual voyage results
- Negotiate & finalize charter party claim disputes

Some desired skills and experience in this role would be:

- Handling of Protection and Indemnity matters
- Knowledge of marine insurance covers
