$EMS ConBulk Befrachtungs GmbH & Co. KG$ EMS ConBulk Befrachtungs GmbH was founded in April 2000 by Mr. Georg Krey and Mr. Werner Bockstiegel in order to have closer contact to the chartering of their vessels. In the year 2006 the legal structure of the company changed to the “EMS ConBulk Befrachtungs GmbH & Co. KG”, which is still existing and managed by her founders.

Our service is concentrating on all matters concerning Chartering, Operations and Controlling of the fleets of Messrs. Reederei Bockstiegel, Emden and Krey Schiffahrt GmbH, Leer.
Philosophy

„As brokers only“ – these words are not or philosophy - we see ourselves as close partners of the Owners we are working for. Due to the fact that we are in many ways very close to the market and to the vessels we took over successfully parts of the work which is normally done by the Owners, like freight collecting, checking of Owners' expenses administration of stevedore damages, etc. are a part of our daily business.
The close contact with Owners' staff is substancial part of our work - communication is the key to success.

Our team is small, therefore everyone has to be able to work in different sections of shipping. The operator is also a specialist in accounting, postfixing and is also able to work on a claim - we know the contracts.

Masters visit our office before they start their contract on board and are informed in detail about next employment, trading area and the experience weand former Masters already have with new Charterers. Preparation of the staff on board is the most important issue for avoiding claims afterwards.
