We are looking for a talented candidate for the following position:
Commercial Executive (Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)
Job Description:
• Assist and collaborate with the Singapore HQ in identifying charter opportunities in the Malaysian market, and coming up with the Client Marketing Plan to develop and foster client relationships and to follow up on charter opportunities and leads
• Responding to Malaysian enquiries as guided by Manager – Business Development (ASEAN BU) on pricing related matters
• Prepare and submit tenders in Malaysia with jointly with support from Singapore HQ and follow up with customers on offers have been made
• Maintain and submit the Tenders and Enquiries Register for Malaysia on bi-weekly basis to Manager - Business Development (ASEAN BU)
• Prepare CPAs for Malaysian charters when required
• Prepare cost sheets and internal approvals (PCF) for new chartering opportunities in Malaysia
• Assist in maintaining the Salesforce marketing database for all Malaysian chartering opportunities.
• Coordinate with Singapore HQ to ensure we are reaching relevant Malaysian clients for all communications initiatives (Breeze, News Releases, and Fleet Availability etc).
• Attend social functions, conferences and trade shows related to the industry in Malaysia.
Role Requirements:
• Minimum diploma in marketing or marine or equivalent
• Preferably with at least 2 to 3 years of working experience in commercial, marketing or chartering in offshore/ marine industry
• Excellent people skills with an proactive and positive attitude
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and a team player at a same time
