Key responsibilities:
– proactively contribute to the safety regime on the vessel
– carry out other related tasks when required by management
– performance of maintenance and repair as per Duty watch Engineer’s instructions
– performance of duty checks and regular activities as instructed by Duty watch Engineer
– provide feedback regarding daily activities to Duty watch Engineer
– assist First Engineer with familiarisation and training of Mechanic, Fitter and Motorman when required
– assist project/construction crew on board as instructed by Duty watch Engineer
– actively promote HSE awareness within the technical department and safeguard compliance with the companies HSE procedures.
Requirements:
– as per applicable Offshore Integrated Training Matrix
– Engineer Officer certificate
– knowledge of planned maintenance systems
– good knowledge of the English language.
