SHIPBOARD ACCOUNTING

Job description, tasks:
Loading of onboard voyages and closing of these voyages in relevant revenue systems in a timely manner;
Controlling guests and crew expenditures while onboard;
Balancing all ship revenue systems on a daily and voyage basis, identifying, researching and correcting any discrepancies;
Generate vendor orders and submit to corporate procurement;
Prepare the Cash and Expense report on a cycle basis, enter all vouchers, safe count & balancing;
Regular Payroll : prepare and payout to approximately 1,000 crewmembers, balance payroll & sign sheets after payout, follow up on all wage disputes, posting files into the Public Folders;
Calculation and payout of gratuities for all tipping personnel using the Crew Paymaster Gratuities program;
Generate month end cost reports.
Requirements:
Must have high school diploma; Degree/Diploma in accounting/finance related studies;
Minimum of one year experience in an accounting position;
Must be fluent in conversational and written English and PC literate;
Must be able to work in a multi-cultural environment;
Must be motivated, flexible, have a pleasant personality and a positive attitude;
Attention to detail, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
Great team player with ability to work effectively in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment.
