Closing Date: Thursday
Bibby Ship Management, in hand with our long-established and highly-esteemed client, is delighted to offer this senior-ranking position for a Vessel Master.
Supporting the continuation of their near-50-year specialist ‘Trans-Atlantic’ service, you will be deployed aboard a high-specification/new-build and ‘first of its kind’ vessel, which binds innovative design with modern/efficient composition, boldly challenging the parameters in the Con-Ro shipping arena.
You must be able to demonstrate extensive sea time on similar Ro-Ro and Container vessels, large tonnage, hi-tech and ideally comparable newly-built vessels.
You will also have hands-on experience of ECDIS (preferably) ‘FURUNO’ type, along with AMOS Planned Maintenance Systems - certification of both would be a benefit, along with experience of new build vessels. You must also hold all of the mandatory seagoing endorsements, (including unrestricted Medical), for your (CoC) certified rank. Your experience to date will also have afforded you experience of U.S. Port calls and inspections and in-hand with this, possession of a valid US Visa is preferred.
Tour lengths are offered on a 15-week rotation and crews are typically multinational - your comfort with both aspects is essential.
Our client is amid an exceptionally positive period of development and these positions represent an unparalleled opportunities to gain a long-term association with both them and ourselves.
Please contact Andy at Bibby Crew Supply with an updated CV and CoC for considerations:
