Catering Department is the 24-hour working department on board an offshore vessel. There are a number of jobs available in this department that include First, Second & Third Cook, Cleaners and Dish Washers.
First Cook reports to the executive chef and supervises the second cook, and ensures the preparations of foods. Fluency in English language is essential.
Second Cook & Third Cook
He/she oversees the preparation and cooking of foods and coordinates the final provision from bakers, pastry cooks. 2+ years of experience in a similar role in a hotel/ship along with a fluency in English language is essential. This position has a possibility for promotion to First Cook.
He/she is responsible for the cleaning and storage of dishes, cutlery, pots and pans onboard the ship. No prior experience is required. Reasonable English speaking skill is desired.
