SHOP MANAGER


Main Function Responsible for managing the onboard shops, developing and implementing
advertising, marketing and sales strategies in keeping with Company policies. Education High school graduate
Language Skills English and at least another language.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Proven experience as Shop Manager, either ashore or on board
2. Proven customer service and leadership skills to interact appropriately with guests in a considerate, professional and positive manner by showing concern and listening actively.
3. Ability to communicate tactfully with guests, department heads and shipboard employees to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Identify and develop potential revenue-generating events and policies to reach and exceed the targets set by the company.
2. Implement the Company’s procedures regarding advertising, promotions, marketing and merchandising.
3. Manage and train resources to maximise results and meet the Company’s standards of quality and targets, develop and improve the human capital available.
4. Ensure constant control over the stock through adherence to established protocols and develop additional loss-prevention protocols where needed.
5. Develop project plans and organize own and staff’s workload on a weekly time scale.
6. Interpret sales data to plan and implement actions to enhance any revenue-generating opportunity.
7. Monitor passengers’ trends and requests to update the company’s offer to the clientele’s demand.
