As Department Manager Electrical & Instrumentation you are responsible for the coordination and development of the E & I staff, the department and its activities.
Job description
You are primarily responsible for efficient E & I engineering support regarding to projects and coordinating all E & I interdisciplinary items with other disciplines within Technip-EPG. In
addition, you are responsible for assigning resources to the projects within your department. You also have the complete quality control of your department according to the concerning laws and regulations within your discipline.
You are responsible for:
• Standardization and consistency of the latest technical output;
• Performance evaluation of your employees;
• Paying attention to technical aspects within the discipline;
• The planning;
• Proposals on hiring, promoting or firing employees;
• Prepare and carry out new standards and procedures to work efficient and effective within the discipline;
• SMART design / VALUE engineering;
• Developing and maintaining metrics;
• Writing specifications, making investment budgets and prepare price comparisons;
• Manage budgets of the discipline;
• Approve purchase orders according to the general proxy scheme within the allocated budget.
Profile
Bachelor degree with approximately 10 years experience, extended with knowledge and
experience within your field of Electrical / Instrumentation. You also have proven experience in a multidisciplinary environment. People and task-oriented leadership, commitment, good communication and presentation skills are among your personal qualities.
Dutch is mandatory
