We are looking to recruit: Marine Superintendent
The successful candidate will be part of the Marine team and will be reporting to the Marine Operations and Environmental Manager. This position will involve worldwide travel to vessels for routine marine visits, internal audits and assessments for oil major inspections together with day to day office responsibilities.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Previous sailing experience as a Master on bulkers or tankers
- Previous experience with OCIMF SIRE System, Safety (ISM/ISO), Quality Management Systems and Security Systems (ISPS Code) would be considered an advantage
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
- Excellent communication/report writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
- High sense of initiative, professionalism and responsibility
- Ability to work under pressure, use own initiative and take on responsibility
- Excellent command of the written and spoken English language
