Assist maintenance of the oil, water and fuel levels of all mechanical equipment within machinery spaces or as required by the Chief Mechanic: assist stopping and starting of machinery as required by Chief Mechanic or Assistant Mechanic; Ensure that all fuel oil tank levels are maintained; Maintaining machinery records in the engine room log book as required; Performing of maintenance routine as required by the planned maintenance program; Reporting all faults to the Mechanic or Assistant Mechanic in a timely manne; Perform other duties are required by the Chief Mechanic and Assistant Mechanic.
