We are currently looking for a Deckhand for a private 21m yacht that is located in Malta and will look to sail mostly around the island and Mediterranean Sea. We are looking for an all-rounder who is happy to support all activities on the yacht.
General duties include the following:
• Stand Watch (STCW certificate holders will be given preference);
• Handle lines and assist with berthing and unberthing;
• Operate and maintain onboard equipment;
• Cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance of the exterior/interior;
• Minor maintenance projects; sanding and taping up for varnishing or painting, caulking, filling;
• Ensure the safety and guest comfort;
• Ensure best environmental practices while working;
• Any other tasks that might become necessary.
The owners are very friendly and are looking for a full-time, permanent crew member.
Eagerness to learn will be looked on in a positive light, however, previous experience working on a yacht is necessary.
