Description
We are looking for a Hire Executive to join our Hire team in Singapore. As a Hire Executive, you will be responsible for the issuance of commercial invoices to charterers, ensuring charterers pay hire promptly, processing voyage and time chartered related invoices, arranging commission payment to shipbrokers, arranging hire payment and reimbursement promptly to shipowners and pool participants. You will also be handling counters from charterers, ship owners and pool participants if any disputes arise. You will need to liaise with various departments to ensure invoices and statements are raised promptly. You will need to hold a diploma or equivalent qualification and have two years’ experience working in a similar role. A basic understanding of charterparty terms and operations is required. Experience in using Softmar preferred.
