On shore management carries out independent safety, ISM and ISPS audits to ensure the vessel is compliant with necessary and up to date safety standards and the companies safety management system.
Engineering Superintendant - Position Available
Superintendent Engineer to control and oversee maintenance of Hull & Machinery
Supervisors repairs and replacement of equipment, helps supervises the ships' personnel in complying with safety and environmental guidelines.
Maintenance includes navigation equipment, DP Systems and Thrusters ( in conjunction with specialists already employed)
Liaising with the DPA, Master and Salvage Master to ensure safe and effective vessel operations. This will include the temporary installation and maintenance of any additional machinery and technical systems required for operations.
Overseeing maintenance of all cranes, davits, gantries and lifting equipment including winches and associated controlling systems whilst liaising with salvage Team when needed.
Support Master, Chief Engineers and DPA in the event of an emergency, to participate in the Emergency Response Team and lead the technical team ashore. The superintendent shall liaise with Coast Guards, Salvors, Class, counter pollution agencies and other responders in the event of a casualty, pollution occurrence or other hazardous situation.
