Some of your key responsibilities:
- Provide effective leadership and direction to the operational team
- Carry out yearly People Processes such as Review and Development dialogue, identify talent and successors, employee survey as well as deal with rehabilitation as well as performance issues.
- Day to day management of all operational activities to achieve a safe and efficient port operations and maintain vessel schedules.
- Foster a caring and collaborative work environment.
- Be a role model when it comes to digitalisation.
- Ensure customer expectations are met through a quality service and experience.
- Compliance with all company and regulatory Health and Safety procedures
- Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox talks and inspections.
- Compliance with ISPS code and local security requirements
- Management of all resources to provide a safe, efficient and port operations that are in Line with Stena Line values
- Accurate and timely communications both internally and externally
- Identify training needs, plan and execute for Stena Line training (currently mostly e-learning) within the operational team
- Communicate with external stakeholders, including port authorities and suppliers
- Coordinate responses to emergencies or critical incidents and ensuring employees are trained in emergency procedures.

Requirements:
- Proven minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in an operational enviroment.
- Role modeling leadership, Communications and digitalisation.
- Knowledge of safety and employee relations regulations
- Ability to liaise effectively with team members, other departments, and external stakeholders
- Full UK Driving License
