Job Description
In your role as Workshop Technican you are a part of the Workshop Turbocharger department. You are maintaining the machinery, tools and consumables specifically related to the workshop activities. The workshop assistance in ongoing in projects related to turbochargers and turbomachinery jobs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Prepare tools needed for a job;

Collect technical data, such as work procedures, drawings, spare parts, material, etc;

Collect general information as machine history, actual and known issues, SPIR Lists, etc;

Perform stock checks;

Servicing, overhauling and/or repairs within the terms and quality levels agreed to in advance and/or MAN standards;

Skilled in operating tools and machines;

Adhere to occupational, environmental, quality and safety requirements at work;

Correct usage of PPE provided;

Report incidents, accidents and near-misses according to procedures;

Participate in periodic toolbox meetings (minimum 10 per year);

Participate in meetings related to HSE, environment, quality and safety aspects;

Anticipate needs and problem the client has with existing equipment and communicate to internal organization in reports;

Participate in regular specialization trainings.

Qualifications and Skills:

You are a qualified workshop engineer or service technician with at least 3 years of maintenance experience on turbochargers;

You have a technical training / background with knowledge of electronic and pneumatic systems;

You are assertive and motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team;

You can work under time pressure and you have excellent technical and commercial skills;

You are service oriented, a team player and flexible;

You have a good command of the English language (spoken and written)

Job Insights

Working inside the workshop (if interested development opportunities to develop inside the field services)

Overtime and allowances are paid out on top of the standard gross month salary

Gross month salary between 2100 and 3300 euro gross per month (excluding allowances and overtime)

EU passport is a must

Drivers license B and own car is a must to come to the location Noorderlaan 181, 2030 Antwerpen, Belgium.

Living in the Antwerpen area is a must!
