3rd Engineer

As 3rd Engineer at Solstad Offshore, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of technical systems on board. You will be a key person in our work to maintain high standards for safety, environmental friendliness and efficiency in our operations.

Areas of responsibility:

- Contribute to the operation and maintenance of the ship's machinery and equipment.
- Carry out routine inspections and report any deviations.
- Actively participate in the training of new employees.
- Collaborate closely with other engineers to ensure optimal operation.
- Follow up on safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Participate in the planning of maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

- M4 certificate (requirement).
- Relevant experience from the offshore or maritime sector is desirable.
- Good technical understanding of ship systems.
- Strong collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Good communication skills in Norwegian and English.
