- UK FWO or UK National
- BOSIET, including HUET, CA-EBS
- STCW A-VI/6-1 Certificate of Proficiency – Security Awareness
- STCW & OPITO-approved health certificate
- STCW Certificate of Competence A-III/4 (Engine Room Watchkeeping)
- STCW A-VI/1 Basic Safety Training
- Seaman’s Book
