We are seeking an Able Seaman (qualified or watchkeeping) for m/v TRANSIT SEDANKA (1996, Sierra Leone flag, AKASAKA 6UEC45LA main engine, 5295 kW). The vessel is a Ro‑Ro with 18 Russian crew members. Contract is 5 months. Joining will take place in Oman between 14 and 24 July. Salary: 153,000 RUB net per month + additional pay for lashing operations. All payments are made in RUB twice a month to the seafarer’s account. Medical examination is covered by the employer. Candidates from any region of Russia are welcome.
Key responsibilities:
- Mooring and unmooring operations
- Cargo securing and lashing
- Deck maintenance and cleaning
- Watchkeeping duties as directed
- Assisting in emergency drills
Essential requirements:
- Valid AB certificate (qual. or watchkeeping)
- Experience on Ro‑Ro vessels is an advantage
- Good command of English
- All valid STCW certificates and medical
