A Dredger Chief Mate position is available, serving as Second in Command on the excavator dredger Sandsend. This role supports the safe and efficient operation of vital harbour operations in Whitby and Scarborough. Responsibilities include assisting the Dredging Master, maintaining safe working practices, and supporting dredging operations. Dredging and excavator experience are desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. The position is based in Whitby with a salary range of £29,064–£31,537 per annum and is temporary with potential for permanence.
