Flexible Fabrication Engineer

Typical tasks and responsibilities:
Overall responsible for the technical delivery of a procurement package
Development of scope of work/ procurement specification in tendering phase
Assist tendering department with qualifications/ technical review of proposals / contract award
Interface with project supply chain management
Focal person on technical queries with subcontractor
Handling and tracking of all communication with subcontractor / client
Handling, tracking and closure of all actions to and from subcontractor
Review and coordinate document reviews internally/ externally with support from DCC
Tracking, technical input and closure of TQs, VORs and NCRs from subcontractor
Understand and monitor subcontractor schedule and flag potential delays in manufacturing of product
Liaison with Community of Excellence on Technical Queries
Regular meetings with subcontractor on progress and technical issues both at site and in office
Follow delivery of product and ensure in accordance with quality requirements together with Inspector and Quality Control Department
