Structural Design Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and creative Structural Engineer(s) to strengthen our Engineering and Projects Department. Applicants must have relevant education and experience from the structural analysis and design of steel constructions. The applicant will work as an integral part of our team from initial concept to delivered product.

Responsibilities

Analyses and calculations for documentation of marine operations
• Typical analyses/designs:
• Structural analyses
• Jacket launch simulations
• Motion response analyses
• Stability analyses
• Software used:
o SESAM
o NAUTICUS
o SHIPX
o AUTOCAD
• Preparation of procedures and manuals for the planning and execution of marine operations
• Participate in the design of barge construction
• Follow up with customers, subcontractors and class / authority
• Participate in HAZID / HAZOP related to marine operations
• Project Manager for Marine Operations

Qualifications
• Master or bachelor degree in structural, mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with structural analysis and development
• Good English oral and written skills
• Knowledge of regulations and standards in the offshore / marine industry
• Versatile background experience is an advantage
