SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER - LATIN AMERICAN PROJECTS
Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering firm Guido Perla & Associates, Inc. (GPA) is looking for an experienced
Senior Mechanical Engineer (Latin American Projects) to join our expanding staff at the company’s headquarters in Seattle, WA.
Primary responsibiliƟ es will include:
/ Develop general arrangements for machinery, structural design, fi nite element modeling, speed and power calculaƟ ons, and class
and regulatory evaluaƟ ons and calculaƟ ons
/ Involved with design work ranging from conceptual design to detailed construcƟ on engineering
/ Manage budgets and schedules
/ Reports directly to the President
Minimum Requirements:
/ EducaƟ on: Bachelor of Science degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
/ Experience: 5 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the mariƟ me industry
Skills/Special Requirements:
/ Engineering project management for industrial applicaƟ ons
/ Knowledge of diesel electric propulsion Location: United States of America (USA)
