Newbuilding Project Manager

As Project Manager you are responsible for the correctness of the technical
specifications provided by the shipyard or design offices. You will be responsible
for the progress of one or more projects, their site teams and the contacts with
the Classification Society, Management Company and shipyard. You create outline
specifications, project schedules, budgets and assists in setting up site teams.
To excel in this function you preferably have a Master’s degree in Technical/
Maritime studies or comprehensive knowledge of shipbuilding project
management and at least 10 years’ experience in a similar position.
You have good knowledge of modern shipyard production methods and statuary
and class rules. You have experience with ship’s systems. In addition, you have
strong managerial, analytical and commercial skills and are able to coordinate and
work in a team.
