ABs to work on different types of merchant vessels

We constantly recruit ABs to work on different types of merchant vessels (bulk carriers, container ships, tankers, cruise ships). Previous experience with successful completion of at least 2 contracts is mandatory. Depending on the results of interview and tests we will discuss individually with each candidate specific opportunities which fit his/her qualifications.

General requirements:

Successful completion of at least 2 contracts with good references from previous employer
Upper-intermediate level of English, fluency in the job-related area
Ability to read navigational charts, good knowledge of bridge equipment
Friendliness and predisposition to teamwork
Working diploma, SCTW certificates

Working duties include but are not limited to:

General maintenance of equipment and areas.
Standing watch as helmsman
Cargo handling gear operation
Overhauling lifeboats, operation of lifeboats
Keeping daily logs and records
Adherence to safety regulations and company’s policies at all times
